Hockey is also an extremely popular sport, and it is played all over the world. The World Hockey Championship is the event that hockey lovers look forward to most. The Olympic Games, of course, are the largest sporting event in the world. Most countries across the globe participate in the Olympics. Competitions are held for almost all the major sports that are played in the world. The winners are highly respected and achieve worldwide fame and glory.
