Witness Disney World’s Different Theme Parks

Disney World is famous for the Magic Kingdom, but there are actually four theme parks on the grounds. In one park there are a myriad of cultures on display from across the globe, then hop on the monorail to visit the park that is home to Cinderella's Castle. There is a network of complimentary transportation provided throughout the park.

Two worlds make up the wonder of Epcot - Future World and the World Showcase. The famous sphere known as Spaceship Earth is at the main entrance, encouraging you to step into Future World. This area is dedicated to the fun of science and technology. Then head over to the World Showcase to witness an assortment of cultures from around the world. Stop by the pavilions that represent eleven different countries and experience restaurants, shops and attractions.

The biggest animal themed park in the world is Disney's Animal Kingdom. The Association of Zoos and Aquariums have recognized the park for it's standards in research, conservation and education. Get up close in a shaded petting zoo known as the Affection Section. There are river rapids to ride, a safari experience, and even a journey into the time of the dinosaurs.

Hollywood Studios take you back to the golden era of Hollywood. All the rides and attractions are based upon movies, television, and music. Everything here will make you feel like a celebrity, with behind the scenes looks at how stunts and special effects are done. You can even walk onto the sets from your favorite movies, or see how animation brings Disney characters to life.

The Magic Kingdom is what everyone thinks of when you mention Disney. While you're here you can become a pirate or be transformed into a princess. This is where you can live in the stories and meet the characters of your favorite Disney movies. The classic Space Mountain hurls you past flashing lights through the darkness of space.

There are also two water parks to enjoy. Blizzard Beach is a ski resort themed water park with a back story of an imaginary blizzard hitting Florida. There are attractions for all ages, including the Ski Patrol Training Ground for kids who are too grown for the Tike's Peak, but not big enough for the super larger sized water slides. There are zip-lines, fake icebergs to float on, curvy water slides and more.

The other water park option is called Typhoon Lagoon. Relax in a hammock on the sandy beach, or have fun floating on an inner tube down Castaway Creek. There are the usual attractions, like water slides and a wave pool, but you can also ask about surf lessons. The two hour class happens before park hours, but you have to reserve your spot ahead of time.

Whichever park you happen to be visiting, there are parades of Disney characters that march by at scheduled times through the day. The restaurants are a variety of everything from extra casual to high end dining. Children and adults of all ages will be able to find rides in every park that they can enjoy. A vacation to Disney World can be as relaxing or fun as you want for it to be.

Walt Disney tickets can be purchased in many locations online. When you plan to visit one of the popular attractions, you can get Disney Park tickets in advance.
